From Seeds to Stall – Leeds Young Marketeers Event

A huge congratulations to our incredible pupils who proudly represented Ormston School at the Young Marketeers event in Leeds City Market! 🎉

From seed to stall, every vegetable sold was planted, grown and harvested by our students from our award-winning school garden!🥕🥬

They travelled across the city and confidently sold their fresh produce to the public as part of the nationwide Young Marketeers programme.

From haggling prices to showcasing their entrepreneurial flair, they showed amazing resilience and creativity throughout the day. We were also honoured to meet Leeds Mayor Dan Cohen during the event!

We couldn’t be prouder of how the day went and gaining real world experience as young urban farmers.
