Update: Temporary School Closure Due to Emergency Plumbing
Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to inform you that due to a significant water leak affecting the school’s toilet facilities, we have made the difficult decision to close the school for a further day on Monday 15th June 2026.
The repairs have already taken place however following advice from our site management team and contractors, further cleaning / sanitation of Moorfield House is required to ensure a safe environment for all young people and staff.
We expect this to be completed as quickly as possible and currently anticipate reopening on Tuesday 16th June. We will keep you updated should this change.
Teachers will provide learning activities for pupils to complete; any alternative arrangements will be discussed between parents/carers and the class Teacher. Further information regarding these arrangements will be communicated separately.
We understand that this unexpected closure may cause inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and support while we work to resolve the issue safely and effectively.
